General Rules for Dog/Puppy Photography Sessions

Leash & Safety Policy:

  • Dogs must arrive on a leash or in a carrier for safety.

  • Leashes may be removed during the session at the photographer’s discretion.

  • Owners are responsible for keeping their pets under control at all times.

  1. Pet Behavior & Responsibility:

    • Owners must ensure their pet is comfortable around strangers and new environments.

    • Aggressive, highly anxious, or untrained pets may not be suitable for the session.

    • Any damage to studio equipment caused by the pet is the owner's responsibility.

  2. Cleaning & Accidents:

    • Owners should walk and relieve their pet before the session.

    • If an accident occurs, owners must notify the photographer immediately for cleaning.

  3. Grooming & Appearance:

    • It’s recommended that pets be clean and well-groomed before the session.

    • For puppies, bring a brush or wipes for last-minute touch-ups.

  4. Props & Outfits:

    • The studio provides a variety of pet-friendly props and accessories.

    • Owners are welcome to bring their own outfits, toys, or accessories.

  5. Multiple Pets & Family Members:

    • Additional pets may require extra time and an additional fee.

    • Owners are welcome to join in a few photos, but must book ahead if they want full family portraits.

  6. Session Length & Breaks:

    • Standard sessions last 30 to 60 minutes with short breaks for treats and water.

    • Puppies may need extra breaks to stay comfortable.

📸 Terms & Conditions

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session.

  • Rescheduling is allowed with 48-hour notice (one-time reschedule policy).

  1. Photo Delivery & Usage:

    • Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery within X days.

    • The studio retains the rights to use images for marketing unless a privacy request is made.

  2. Copyright & Print Release:

    • The photographer retains copyrights to all images.

    • Clients receive a print release but cannot alter or resell images.

  3. Weather & Outdoor Sessions:

    • For outdoor sessions, rescheduling due to bad weather will be at the photographer’s discretion.

  4. Health & Vaccinations:

    • Dogs should be up to date on vaccinations to ensure a safe environment for all pets.

    • Sick or injured pets should not attend the session.
